A Brief History
IDEOLITY was founded in 1988 as Twenty-First Century Communications Corporation and has been providing managed IT consulting services for business and nonprofit organizations since then.
In 1992, our founder finished graduate work in computer resource and information management at Webster University.
In 1995, we achieved certifications from Cisco and Citrix.
In 1998, we became a Microsoft Certified Partner and have remained a partner in good standing continuously since.
In 2004, we renovated our new headquarters building in Merriam, just south of the I-35 & Antioch Rd. exit (now next to Great Plains SPCA!) Our building also serves as a disaster recovery location for our clients in the event they cannot occupy their own offices because of catastrophe.
In 2005, we began serving clients in other states beyond Kansas and Missouri.
In 2006, we founded our subsidiary, ReValence Networks, Ltd. and located in the 'data hotel' at 1102 Grand Ave. (now the area's largest data center). ReValence provides cloud and other Internet-based services including hosting, co-location and virtual servers.
In 2008, we became an authorized Google reseller.
In 2009, we changed our name to IDEOLITY, so it would be easier to remember and not so clunky and long. (But the official corporate entity is still Twenty-First Century Communications Corp.)
In 2010, we began our intergenerational management transition which we expect to be completed by the end of 2015.
IDEOLITY has been continuously recognized on the list of the Kansas City Business Journal's top 25 Computer Networking Companies for the last fourteen years.
